@0xaatif I would say expansion, #15 only mentions trace decoder. I will close 15 as duplicate.

@0xaatif Also, I am not sure why #15 has a hard requirement for the Prometheus. Why wouldn't we use OpenTelemetry to also have an option collect logs/traces beside metrics?
