Im not sure how to use the android app

I downloaded it, i gave it the IP and port of my desktop where im test running it for now, checked with that exact IP and port on the same desktop and i could upload and view files, meanwhile on the android app it tells me it failed to connect, maybe wrong password, but im not using any passwords? Since this is a local installation, not accessible from the internet

If it's local, check if your server and clients share the same network and LAN block. Additionally, make sure your router allows cross-client communication (usually blocked in guest networks, for example).

Also, make sure that the proper ports are open in your desktop.
