Julia
Julia is a recent addition to the programming languages used in climate science. Julia was designed from the beginning for high performance and parallelism. It can integrate with Python, R and other languages, has a machine learning, visualization, dataframe and netcdf packages. In Australia is becoming popular with the oceanographic community.
Fortunately (unfortunately?) I need to make use of Julia, possibly within a larger Python workflow on NCI, and possibly CSIRO HPC. I know less than not much about Julia and so am wondering of anyone knows someone in our HPC community who has some experience?
I could use my humble journey learning as an opportunity to document things here in the ACDG?
