Footer: allow Markdown for Footer text

We'd like to integrate some links in our Footer, currently you only allow plain text. It would be nice to allow HTML strings as well ...

Hi @annsch, would Markdown support in the footer work for you as well, or should it really be HTML? We sense a risk of breaking the application in case you would e.g. add JS snippets into the footer.

Hi @annsch, thx for your feedback and updating the issue. We'll add it to our roadmap… should be an easy one, so we might tackle it not too far in the future ;-)
