Saving configuration to a file

At the moment, there is no option to save the configuration to a file. So, each time I re-install AdGuard, I need to enter all the details manually, and to remember to keep a record of custom filtering rules somewhere especially. So, it'd be helpful if there was an option to save the settings to a file so that they can be uploaded easily in the case of a RPi failure etc.

Thank you, I've tried to copy it but I'm getting the 'permission denied' message. Anyway, wouldn't it just be easier and quicker if that option was available from within AdGuard - you just click on it and it downloads the backup. A restore option of some kind would be useful, too.

I was just attempting to move from Pi-Home to Adguard, copied all my DHCP reservations into the YAML file (formatted properly), and AdGuard rips them out, and ignores them completely, according to what I found those are stored elsewhere in some database. So I agree with OP that this is a must to be able to backup easily/restore easily, all settings. Not just the core ones stored in the AdGuardHome.yaml

Pihole is not the same as Adguard. So this is irrelevant.

I disagree, you said just copy the YAML file to do a backup, well that doesn't copy all the settings.. What happens when the computer Adguard is running on dies? People are just expected to re-enter 10, 20, 50 DHCP reservations again? Adguard needs a way to backup all a users settings, and easily restore them. And copying the YAML file doesn't cut it.
