Description
Wednesday (11/13) Went to IAWWTF. Fixed the two holes to fit 3/4" sludge blanket pipes, drilled 5 other holes for 1/2" pipes. Glued the pipes onto the reactor and glued valves onto the pipes. Set up the second influent line and added a wye to the effluent of the second reactor for testing purposes. Changed the sludge and FOG weir to clear pipes and attached the valves to them. Gas bag still doesn't have much gas in it. Will begin writing down in lab notebook amount of gas produced based on wet test meter this coming visit.
Thursday (11/14) Did some fabrication. Cut the 10" pipe into pieces, drilled hole in holding tank to fit the pulse pipe
Sunday (11/17) Subteam meeting.
Planned out the coming week: Tentative plan of going to IAWWTF on Monday; Fabrication on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; Meeting with Ruth and Egidio on Wednesday to give updates and ask a couple of questions. Will also be going in the early morning Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for lab testing.
Also did some fabrication: drilled 90° holes into reactor body (influent, effluent, drain, and sludge blanket), cut 80/20 pieces for the holding tank frame, cut influent pipes and sludge blanket pipes, and made the effluent testing attachment.
