Unclear how to setup GitOps

Hello!

It is very unclear from docs how to setup registry with gitops.

I used apicurio.gitops.repo.origin.uri env var and passed url to my selfhosted Gitlab server - https://token:glpat@my.gitlab.tld/project/ptoject.git

When I try to save any API spec I got

Also, registry does not load any file from repo and I got this in my logs

Could someone please tell me what am I doing wrong?

Hello, the gitops feature is very experimental at the moment and we do not have much documentation because of it. Can you share the contents of the repository so I can try to reproduce the issue?

From the error I'm guessing you have to configure the correct registry ID in your repository https://github.com/jsenko/apicurio-registry-gitops-test/blob/main/registry-prod.yaml#L2 and https://github.com/Apicurio/apicurio-registry/blob/main/app/src/main/java/io/apicurio/registry/storage/impl/gitops/GitOpsConfigProperties.java#L13-L17 . This feature is intended to support using the same repository for multiple registry instances.
