We have been getting errors on 6.17.2 on the sendEvents function as well. Support assured me that 6.17.4 this is fixed. Is it fixed, though?

@mantasoff thank you! Do you run Appsflyer SDK on the main thread? Do you run some other operations with background threads?

We are calling logEvent on a background thread. Also, the AppsFlyerLib.start is called on the background thread.

Update: one of the users got the same error on 6.17.4.

This started to happen to our users as well after updating the SDK from 6.17.0 to 6.17.3.

We updated our app version to 6.17.4. Changed our threading to go through the main thread as well.
Did not help, it seems we are still constantly crashing.

Crashes might be related to initializing the library (lib.start) and sending the event quickly enough, but couldn't recreate myself.

We are experiencing a critical crash in our iOS app after updating to the latest AppsFlyer SDK (v6.17.5). The crash happens randomly and is impacting production users.

Crash occurs without a specific flow (randomly on app launch / background events).

This looks like an internal issue in the AFSDKEvent attStatus method accessing a dictionary key that is nil.

Could you please investigate this crash and provide a fixed SDK version or workaround as soon as possible? The app was crashing due to this for live users.

Hello!
We’ve also encountered the same issue mentioned by @mantasoff.

The crash occurs when we enable AppsFlyer collection and may happen randomly while using the app.

Interestingly, the app version built with Xcode 26 does not encounter this crash.
We are currently using Xcode 16.4 in production.

Until a new SDK version fixes this issue, we’ve downgraded to 6.17.1.
