NullPointerException from Tesseract 4.x data files being present

Hi, issue #431 and #467 appears to be the same problem: incompatibility with Tesseract 4.x. I have verified both inputs are transcribed correctly with 3.x data files and fail with the described exception and stack with 4.x ones.
#418 and #294 are probably also this issue. I'm not allowed to close bugs in this project so I assume all I can do is mention it here :) @hbitteur

I was wrong about 431 being same crash I'm seeing, but at least it seems fixed in 5.2 since it worked for me when I got the Tesseract data files issue sorted..
