Process map #36

Description

We should add a process map to the first page (tab) of Kronos.

The process map should visualize:

  1. the flow of the activities,
  2. the processing times of the activities;
  3. the waiting times in the arcs (transitions);
  4. the frequencies of the activities and the arcs (transitions).

The process map should have the following overlays:

  1. time perspective:
  • average time (default);
  • median time;
  • total time.
  1. frequency perspective:
  • average frequency;
  • median frequency;
  • total frequency.

The process map is desired to have the manipulation with the levels of abstraction:

  1. nodes (default: 100)
  2. arcs (default: 10)
  3. parallelism is not needed.
    by perspective: case frequency (default).
    If manipulation is not possible, then use the default setting specified above. In this case, we simply display the settings with no possibility of interacting with them.

By clicking on a particular arc, the waiting time distribution per cause in the selected transition should be displayed. This component will be specified in a different ticket.

For reference of how the map is expected to look and be manipulated, please see how it is implemented in Apromore. I also attach a screenshot from Apromore highlighting the elements to be included. The process map and respective elements do not have to be exactly the same as in Apromore. As long as the functionality is there, any solution should do.
