Hi @integymt, could you clarify if you used the Accelerator to bootstrap the parameter files, or did you just deploy the individual module by itself using the CLI/PowerShell scripts we provided in the readmes?

If it's the latter scenario, you'll want to make sure you update the parameter parAzVpnGatewayAvailabilityZones to an empty array.

The accelerator was used to bootstrap.

I found that the SKU of the gateway specified for the secondary region was AZ type. I changed this to a non-AZ SKU and the deployment succeeded on another attempt.

For clarity, in the successful deployment the primary region gateway SKU was VpnGw1AZ, secondary region was VpnGw1 and the availability zone parameters were as below, with this same configuration but with the secondary gateway SKU as VpnGw1AZ, the deployment failed, presumably because the AZ SKU is zone redundant:
