Admin Portal 500 Error #790

Describe the bug
After script deployment the App Service for the admin portal fails to load and gives a 500 Error shown screenshot below

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Resource Group
  2. Admin App Service plan
  3. default domain and select
  4. See error

Expected behavior
the expected behavior would be to load the app service web app

@cjchiarello I'm having the same problem, did you manage to resolve the issue? Also did your customer portal deploy correctly(does the dashboard open without errors)?

Hi @cjchiarello / @NikolasSkrlj - there could be multiple things in play here.

  1. was the deployment successful? apps and db?
  2. any errors in the env variables page of the app services?
  3. maybe try enabling application insights or logs to see what the exception is?

@cjchiarello I'm having the same problem, did you manage to resolve the issue? Also did your customer portal deploy correctly(does the dashboard open without errors)?

Yes - it was a DB error due to the user string being more than 40ish characters. Once I reduced that and re-ran the deployment it was good.
