Close the menu dropdown after a selection is made or if selection outside of dropdown is made.

turns out this is a known issue with react-bootstrap (react-bootstrap/react-bootstrap#1301) -- I'd rather hold out for an update then mess with the source code or devise a complex hack unless this is high enough priority.
