When we download the setup for installing the app, the Windows Defender does not recognize the app, it shows this app might put your PC at risk.

It's mainly because we're not digitally signing our installer/binaries. Files that are "well known and downloaded by many Windows users" wouldn't be flagged even if not signed, but we're small enough that this might not happen, and it resets every time we push out a new release. An EV code signing certificate would let me sign releases so they'd be instantly trusted by SmartScreen.

For now, you can click More info and then Run anyway.
