Chef cookbook for provisioning kafka cluster.
We need to do these whenever we release a new version:
- Run
bundle exec berks update
bundle exec berks vendor cookbooks
- Commit and updated
cookbooksdirectory - Tag the commit that we want to release with format
<APP-VERSION>-<REVISION>
This cookbook version will follow kafka version with extra revision indicator suffixed. For example:
2.11-1means that this is a revision 1 cookbook that will provision kafka version2.11
