Problem 1
- Installation request for behat/yii-extension ~1.0 -> satisfiable by behat/yii-extension[v1.0.0].
- behat/yii-extension v1.0.0 requires behat/behat >=2.4.0,<2.4.x-dev -> no matching package found.

Potential causes:

Any clue?

I created a 1.1.0 release compatible with Behat 2.5 with the current code. The old 1.0.0 release was for Behat 2.4 only.

hm. Christophe, so, we are far away from current versions? (3.x).
Any particular reason for that? Lack of time, or is 2.5 the best wide supported...?

I'm asking this, because I'm starting with bdd, and I wish to use a tool, or set of tools, that may follow our dev process along the next years.

thanks again.

Well, I'm not a Yii user, so I'm not particularly interested into this extension. This is why I haven't spent time yet on migrating the extension for Behat 3

I see. If I could at least know what to change in order to upgrade, perhaps I could help... If any of you could send some clues, perhaps me (or others) could keep that up to date?

I had no need yet to upgrade to Behat 3, which is why I didn't migrate the YiiExtension either.
Don't know if YiiExtension is affected by the Behat changes from 2.5 -> 3.0
But you may give it a try and let us know.

@patrickdreyer given we changed the Behat API (and the MinkExtension), it is affected
