Hi, I am getting started with Groot2.

sometimes cannot save or export my tree, and I have no idea why. The buttons are greyed out and Ctrl+S is not working.

If this is related to being a formatting issue or me using the free trial version I cannot say, because no error message or any other information is displayed.

I suggest to have as a bare minimum some error message appearing when trying to save a tree.

  • Tried deleting some nodes and saving, no avail.
  • Tried filling in all the port values to something, did not help.
  • Tried keyboard shortcuts.

How I did manage to get some message, is by closing the project, and pressing 'Save' on the popup.

Looks like this:

Using groot with export settings for BT.CPP 3.X

EDIT: Reason for not being able to save was the 20 node limit. But the issue still stands
