I'm not exactly sure what I should do to grab additional details. I only get this issue on Windows. Will update this if I can find more verbose logging.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

It appears that either I misunderstood how the timestamp API is supposed to work, or CPAL is doing something wrong. I'll look into this.

Hmm, I'm at a bit of a loss why this is happening.

As a temporary workaround, I've just disabled using the timestamp from the OS for now and instead use std::time::Instant::now() in a27bea1.
