Next alarm in widgets #463

Hi, Point 1: Why does this proposal only concern the Material widget? Furthermore, I would find the layout strange if the alarm title were displayed below, knowing that it is also possible to display cities... Finally, some users use very long titles for their alarms; should the number of characters be limited? But what would that number be, given that some devices can display more characters than others due to their screen resolution? There seem to be a lot of limitations, especially since that is not the primary purpose of this widget. Improving the Next Alarm widget with the idea from #406 would be more appropriate. Point 2: If other users complain about it, I will remove it. |

It doesn't, that's why I put "Material" between "(...)".
I wouldn't know why would look strange. I don't see an option to display cities, what do you mean exactly?
Just a single ellipsized line, limited by the horizontal space minus padding? Doesn't seem to be difficult from what I remember about Android layout XML'ing.
Why is that related? Showing a list of upcoming alarms, that's a completely different type of widget. |

Edit: Ah never mind, I can make this line's text color fully transparent, that'll do.
