Add more options to customize widget font

I want to make the font less bold. It would be great to add the option to adjust font thickness and maybe some other options like font style and the option to choose a custom font

Agreed, while personally I do not use the widget, I have seen people (such as my sister) preferring alternative widgets, just because of this.

What this feature request should be asking for, which would serve everybody well, is the ability for users to add their own preferred font or for the app to include a small selection of extra fonts that would be used for the app itself as well as the widgets. The ability of being able to change the font would introduce the one missing customization Clock is missing as this feature alone would make the app/widget feel fresh by simply changing fonts.

I would like to be able to add/use the Atkinson Hyperlegible fonts with Clock. The numbers resemble monotype style and the readability of text in general is great as this font is made specially for that. Atkinson Hyperlegible Next is a variable font so it would adapt very well to the different font weights throughout the app/widgets.

In general Monotype fonts always work great for clocks as the numbers are uniform and always use the same amount of space for it give that unique look and fell. Atkinson Hyperligible also offers a monotype version. With that said, other mototype fonts would work great. The Iosevka font family offers great diversity as far as font styles to choose front. I personally like the Iosevka Curly Slab.

Anyways, there are other great fonts like JetBrains, VictorMono, Hack, etc, that would work great.

All these fonts are FOSS.

I hope @BlackyHawky can reconsider this issue based on the above appeal and perhaps in the near future this issue can find its way into his Planned Bin.
