Customize render button in Rstudio #3
Comments
or create an dso R-package addin for R-studio that runs dso repro |
Whatever works - I'm not that familiar with Rstudio to judge what is the best solution. |
I would recommend both. The render button is the most used button, but the R Studio Add-in leave more options but are not as accessible. |
I have scoped this, this only works for Rmd, not for qmd. Rmd display the knit button which can be customized in the header e.g.
however, it does not affect the render button |
When rendinger quarto in R studio with the Rstudio render button, a different quarto render is done as dso would do.
It would be extremely helpful if the behaviour could be matched, so that users can manually compile with R studio.
