Inscriptions like: NY.NY.MMA.P.74.51.2294.xml have a RTL language, in this case, Phoenician. the double dash indicating a word break shows up on the right, and it should be on the left.
EM has suggested that we need a language code <div type="edition" xml:lang="phn"> to indicate that it's a language that has RTL directionality. Need to check what the Epidoc stylesheets do for this, or adjust them/make an issue.
