I think it is kind of annoying having to setup a system with multiple distros, where every distro that gets installed just replaces the current boot loader, which may not even detect other systems properly (like grub with btrfs systems..).
It would be nice to add an option to not install any bootloader.

If you installed with the "Install Alongside" or "Replace a partition" options then it'll reuse whichever boot manager that you currently have in your system.
I just tested a bit in a VM. Starting point is a working Fedora 40 KDE, occupying the whole disk.
When starting Calamares from CachyOS-Hello, I will be greeted by a small bootloader selection. If I would select "Install Alongside" later, this does not really make any sense at this point. Why should I choose something, if it isn't going to be installed then?
When starting Calamares from the console via sudo calamares, I do not get any selection window, which is fine as I guess that there is some additional script from CachyOS-Hello, which is not run here.
Either case: I have a full install of CachyOS alongside my Fedora. But, when rebooting, I will always be greeted by the CachyOS bootloader which only shows CachyOS itself, the fallback version and the option to go to the firmware settings. There is no Fedora in the list. Why is that?
