Papercut SMTP v7.0.2 [2025-10-09]

Improvements

• Modernized versioning system to use Directory.Build.props instead of GlobalAssemblyInfo.cs
• Added Windows ARM64 support (Windows Copilot ARM64 Installer Version #283)
• Improved port configuration for SMTP and HTTP services (Unable to change WebUI Port from 5000 to 8080 #285, How do I change the IP/Port of the SMTP server? #286, Docker image attempts to bind to tcp/25 and tcp/80, which it does not have permissions to do by default #293)
• Enhanced Docker support with non-privileged ports (SMTP: 2525, HTTP: 8080)
• Consolidated documentation and improved Docker build process

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Windows Service installation and auto-start issues (Papercut SMTP service does not start automatically on Windows Server - Missing .bat file #294)
• Fixed Linux path separator handling (Default Incoming path incorrectly separated as /app/\Incoming on Linux (i.e. Docker image) #292)
• Fixed SMTP server options configuration

Build System

• Refactored build.cake to reduce code duplication
• GitVersion now populates version properties via MSBuild
• Removed deprecated assembly patching approach

Note this is a maintenance release. Fixed up the builds and various low-hanging fruit. I will be getting to some larger features in Papercut SMTP here very soon.
