Extended functionality for moderation

I use your wonderful program for moderation quite often, especially when I can't follow the chat. I use the highlighting feature, in which I add certain words that I, as a moderator, have to react to, and I would like to have more advanced functionality for moderation. Therefore, I propose to add the following features:

• Mass bans. From time to time, there is a massive influx of bots on broadcasts, and they have to be banned one by one, which is very inconvenient. I would like to have a command for mass blocking, for example: /bans {user1} {user2} {user3}
• Automatic moderation scenarios. The program already has a great highlighting feature that can be supplemented with additional scenarios. By scenarios, I mean the following: when a user writes a certain word in a chat, the program can automatically perform the following actions: delete the message, give a timeout, give a ban, or reply to the message.
• Improving commands. It would be great if you could create commands that would work not only in the program itself, but also in the twitch chat.
• Export and import settings. As far as I know, the only way to transfer settings now is to manually copy files, which is not convenient at all.

Mass bans

currently chatterino allows you to ban the same user across multiple channels at once, but doing multiple users in a single channel would require creating a queue of ban actions and spacing them out according to the 100/30 ratelimit. for now, i'd recommend using a bot like fossabot that can handle banning a list of users for you

this seems like a better fit for the plugin system, but really you should write an chat bot

twitch doesn't support this, you'd have to write a custom browser extension (if i'm understanding your request correctly)

I recently switched from Windows to Mac, and in order to keep my settings, I had to copy files and transfer them to another system. It would be so much easier if you could just export one file and import it using the program itself without having to search for the folder where all the saved files are located.

I know that the website has information on where these files can be found, and that is very useful.

I also recently had a case where I needed to transfer my settings with highlighted words to another user.

I cannot promise this will be implemented but this is functionality that seems pretty good. However I would like for it to allow a ban reason or even require one.

Chatterino is first and foremost a chat client. It's not a way for you to create a chat bot. Use an existing chat bot or make one yourself. This might be a use case that ends up working in plugins but I (and I think pajlada too) do not intend to explicitly support it.

If you need that either make a bot or an addon for webchat.

Generally copying stuff to and from the settings is really annoying. This has been an issue for a long time but it's not been much of a priority for us.
