Get file specific details, or extract actual file

This is either an issue or a feature request.

Currently, when the files are extracted, they are given a creation / modified date of the current time. However, when extracting the files manually, through windows, the original modification / creation date remain. It would be nice to either:

1. Extract the actual file, retaining all original file details from the file
2. Have a function that can return these details, similar to the listFiles function returning the names.
