after installing and removing desksms on my android phone, no more sms notifications

Title says it, I had used desksms and paid for it I guess. 

But now after removing it, I can't have sms sound notifications anymore.

I get the sms, can read it, but no sound notification.

Are you aware of such a problem? Thank you.
