What happened? / Steps to reproduce

I apologize if this isn't the right form for this issue;
I'm trying the 8.62.0-migration-to-dll-spawner-ares-phobos.50 Beta and it seems the in-game menus are inoperable if using the included CnC-DDraw 1.4 renderer.

To reproduce:
Start a game in any mode, and immediately try to open the pause menu. The screen will appear frozen, as if the menu were open but invisible. Clicking over the spaces where the buttons would normally be does load in the correct submenus, but the renderer only updates the menu screen after several clicks, displaying it many clicks behind and effectively making it impossible to navigate.

What should have happened?

The menu correctly renders as expected.
Using the Live version of CnCNet, or replacing CnC-DDraw with the latest 7.1 version, or switching to TS-DDraw or others, makes the issue disappear: the menu works and renders correctly as before.
