select all buildings of same type (bug?)

Hi,
When you hold down your “type select” button and click on a structure,
it selects all structures of that type, as normal.
BUT
it counts different factions' versions of the same buildings, as different buildings.

Meaning if you're allied, for example, with allied war factories,
and you get your hands on a soviet MCV, and make soviet war factories,
there's no way you can select all your war factories at once.
(other than holding shift and manually clicking on them all)

If possible, this really needs to be changed/fixed.
There's absolutely no reason
why you'd ever want to select war factories differently based on how they look.
It looks like a massive oversight.

It might be that the original developers didn't really plan/foresee that players would have all 3 MCVs, hence this was an oversight. A workaround I found is to hold Shift + T, and selecting the different factions' buildings. At most, you'd have to click 3 times, while holding down Shift + T, which (imo) isn't that big of a deal, but I see your point of convenience being able to select all of them at once.

Technically working as intended right now.. Select all command selects all of the same 'TechType', so the T trick for structures is selecting all the same 'TechType' of the same structures. What @MJvst said, will have to use Shift to select all 3 factions like I do when playing survival maps for Multi-MCV
