Description

v0.3.4 repeatedly crashes immediately on start. This is new to v0.3.4. (Edited and corrected issue title to refer to the correct version)

To Reproduce

Attempt to start the app.

Expected Behavior

App starts and shows previously open files. (Edited to fix typo.)

Xcode: (none; not installed)

Same here, crash when opening any file (macOS 13)

Looks like these are the guilty lines after symbolicating that crash report.

That's not a whole lot to go on, but it does seem to indicate to me that it's from a fatalError somewhere. The Slice.withContiguousStorage further indicates that it may be an out-of-bounds exception. This makes me think that it may have been fixed with a recent change in our source editor, but I don't have a lot to back that up based on the report.
