Zooming out the Timeline is crashing Final Cut Pro #530

DESCRIBE THE BUG:
When I use Zoom to fit on the time using the menu bar or keyboard shortcut the app crashes. Also when zooming out using the trackpad gesture or the slider in the clip view manager dropdown menu the application also crashes. Also using the keyboard shortcut command - crashes FCP but only hitting it twice.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
I expected more of the timeline to be visible.
