Hello, I'm sorry to see that no one around here has stepped up to help you out, so allow me to change that:

Just copy & paste this into the terminal app called Konsole:

sudo sed -i 's/\bGRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="\b/&transparent_hugepage=madvise /' /etc/default/grub sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/steamos/grub.cfg

Make sure to copy & paste all of it at once!

Hope that solves your problem...

Should THP still be set as "always" instead of "madvise", then please try removing CryoUtility, because that could be causing the problem here.

I must have missed this, sorry. Have you disabled THP in CU2? It should be set to "madvise" when you do so, since that's the default behavior.

If not, can you supply the contents of your /home/deck/.cryo_utilities/cryoutilities.log?
