Hi, I'm a bit of noob with all of this so appologies if critical information is mising or I get some of it wrong. I've spent quite a while going through the documentation for creating a custom GUI in Juce for the RNBO export and was coming up against a lot of stumbling blocks.
After a bit of searching around and asking in forums it appears the the GUI Editor is disabled in Projucer because it is no longer supported, has not been for a few versions, will be removed altogether in version 8 and produces bad and buggy code when using it.
I was advised to rewrite everything from ground up which is enormously daunting and feels like a huge challenge without some help.
I know this is a lot of work, but would it be possible to update the guide with modern supported best practices so we're not starting from a bad position. Or have I completely misread and misunderstood the guides?
