The latest update added a bunch of new items in the ammo, armor, and weapons categories of stockpiles. If you tag these on, then export the stockpile settings and import them somewhere else, these new items won't be tagged on in the imported stockpile.

In its current state, this appears to be intended behavior. To my understanding these categories it is failing to remember are generated raws (being unique per-world). Stockpile import/export currently ignores any of these as they are not transferable across worlds, and thus are typically unimportant cross-save.

The only time stockpile import will set these categories currently will be if all filters in a primary category (Ammo, Animals, Armor, etc.) are set to allow. In this case the stockpile export saves a marker to enable "all" options, as opposed to a list of options to enable.

This is likely going to become more prevalent as more and more items are generated as Dwarf Fortress moves towards the magic system, but there is no "easy" solution to this currently. A temporary help could be moving the "all" flags to the subcategories (ex. Body Armor, Head Armor, Ammo Type) so that if all of a subcategory is enabled, it will remain as such even when not all of the primary category's options are enabled. This is not perfect, but it may help in some cases.
