GitHub Digital Public Goods Community Manager Program

GitHub has launched the second cohort of its Digital Public Goods Community Manager Program which provides training for developers globally who are interested in becoming a Community Manager for social sector organizations such as DPGs. These Community Managers are external developers who come from a range of countries.

This year we will open up the program to more applicants and provide more workshop-based training. Once the training is complete, then we will pair successful applicants with an open source for a good organization for a small capstone-style project. The Capstone Project can be code or non-code such as developing a Developer Engagement Contribution Guide.
