Okay, so I noticed this today when I was re-downloading the program after I accidently wiped some apps and files off my hard drive. Regardless- In my not-so-humble opinion, a "country" where viewing Rule 34 is illegal- is a "country" whose government needs to be overthrown. I understand why @DaxEleven put this warning there- it's for his own legal liability. However- I think it should be made clear that such "laws" are unacceptable, and that these governments aren't worth anyone's respect. Here's how I suggest it be rephrased:
Although using a certain filter when searching you can get safe content (rating:safe), basically the application allows you to access erotic and/or pornographic content. Use it at your own risk, taking into account that certain countries may prosecute you for possession of such materials. Please, be smart- use a VPN and keep your hot art in a password-locked folder- or a cloud-based storage site in a country that respects freedom of speech. I accept no liability for the use of this program or the potential resulting legal consequences.
What do you guys think? Is my phrasing better- and more accurate to what we, as people who love technology and the internet, stand for? I think so- but tell me your opinions!
