From the CDC/ATSDR website, you can download data for 6 years (2000, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020)
2000 and 2010 have different column names than 2014 onwards
2014 through 2020 all have the RPL columns representing:
- Socioeconomic Status – RPL_THEME1
- Household Characteristics – RPL_THEME2
- Racial & Ethnic Minority Status – RPL_THEME3
- Housing Type & Transportation – RPL_THEME4
- The overall summary ranking variable is RPL_THEMES
As expected, the number of tracts changes every year.

What to do about the years 2000 and 2010? Do we need this data?
Are there any other variables we are interested in?
