Linux tarball does not start

Describe the bug

bash: /home/davide/Candle-tarball/Candle: cannot execute: required file not found

To Reproduce

1. Get an Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS (mate edition)
2. Download https://github.com/Denvi/Candle/releases/download/v1.1/Candle_1.1.7.tar.gz
3. Untar said tarball
4. Try to start the application

Additional context
Building it from source from whatever version gets pulled when cloning the repo from github, works just fine, so it must be an incompatibility from the build environment and the one I'm using.

I'm not asking that you fix it (at least not for me, since I can build anything myself just fine), perhaps verify if you can reproduce it and put a warning on the README.md wrt what systems the tarball works on.
