Define a projections file and implement the corresponding calling function

In reference to the group meeting on 7/Jul/2025 and issues #2036 and #1460, it is necessary to have a list of projections that can be accessed through a function, which can get the relative projection. This is useful for GlobalBias (avoiding the definition of the projection as a string).
