Help in creating Nederlands version of Vespers

Now that the Nederlands translation of (almost) the entire missal has been completed, the time has come to start translating (parts of) the breviary. I would like to start with the Vespers on Sundays and the important feast days; these are the only days for which I currently have the texts (in my missal) available. Can someone (FAJ-Munich? mbab?) create in horas/Nederlands the missing folders that are needed and put in these folders the Latin version of the relevant files that I have to translate? Can you also indicate which files play a role in the Vespers and need to be translated? Thank you in advance!

The easiest way is simply to copy over the entire English folder, which is the most complete one, and you can delete the folders that you don't want currently work on, like Martyrologium or the folders ending with "M", that are for the monastic version only.

Now the data files are not done for Vespers only, there is the entire day in each file. If you want to start with Vespers, you have to translate following hashes:

• Ant Vespera
• Capitulum Laudes (the readings are almost exclusively identical in Lauds and Vespers, and the Lauds have been preferred)
• Versum 1
• Ant 1 (Antiphon at Magnificat)
• for second Vespers, you might need to translate Ant 3 and anything that ends with 3 as well.

However, it might be better to translate everything, or just the Horæ diurnæ first, that depends on you.

When creating the Czech version, I always copy the English version over, translate what I want (in my case everything except from Matins), and leave the rest, because I plan on returning for the Matins later. And it remains there as a place holder, and anyway, the translation would fall over into the English version.

Now to the process:

1. First you should translate pretty much everything in the Psalterium folder. There are all the non-specific common files, from expressions like Dóminus vobíscum to Psalms and Canticles (designated 2XX.txt)
2. Then you should translate the Commune(M) folder. There is everything you would find in the Commune Sanctorum section of a Breviary.
3. Then you get to the individual days, either in the Tempora, or the Sancti files. The structure of Sancti folder is self-evident, and the Tempora quite as well, just the numbered files in the beginning are just the days in August through November (081-0 is Sunday of the first week in August, 102-3 is Wednesday of the second week in October etc.). You will see that many of those files are empty or almost empty, as the rest of the content is inherited from Commune or Psalterium/Special folders.

I am still in the process of finding my way in the system, but I did manage to enter the Vespers for the coming Sundays. Since we are still in Pascal Time, the antiphon for the five psalms is Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. In the Netherlands version, I get the (unwanted) form Allelúja, allelúja, allelúja. Where does this come from and how can I correct it so that I will get Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia?

Oh, it comes from all over the place. Have you already translated Psalterium/Psalmi/Psalmi major.txt? There are all the antiphons for Eastertide for Lauds and Vespers. Some other alleluias are in Psalterium/Psalmi/Psalmi minor.txt - the Antiphons for the Minor Hours during the day. Yet another set of alleluias resides in Psalterium/Common/Prayers.txt. Those are the alleluias, that are added to the Versicles during Eastertide. And then there are some alleluias in Psalterium/Special/Major Special.txt and Minor Special.txt as well, there are the short Responsories. These all are the common data files. And in some proper data files, there are alleluias too, so you have to look for it.
