Is it possible to set position directly without camera going wonky afterwards? #10

I'm wondering if it is possible to manually set the position without the camera going wonky (sliding infinitely) afterwards. For example, in a strategy tower defense, you may want the camera to follow a selected soilder, or for a cutscene you may want to position the camera manually. Turing off pinch and pan doesn't stop it from going crazy after manually positioning it, so I assume it can't. If anyone has a solution please help, thanks!
