Functionality to "reset" file

There are situations where a user does a big change by mistake and would like to reset the file to the current "main" state.
This could be done via a button maybe called "discard changed" or "reset file to original", with a warning popup that all the changes made will be lost.
This button could be on the same level as the "delete file" button.
