Extension showing incorrect version randomly

I published an extension to the registry. It was version 0.0.1, and it was published before I claimed my namespace (having not being familiar with the concept yet.)

Some time later, I requested my namespace, and published version 0.0.2 of the app with updated documentation.

Now what I experience is that sometimes my account and the extension page shows that 0.0.1 is the latest version, and my namespace IS NOT verified, and other times it shows 0.0.2 as the latest version, and that my namespace IS verified.

It keeps flipping between the two.

This can be repeated by reloading the extension page. Additionally, the extension is not showing up in my developer environment (a cloud based instance of VS Code), while other recently published extensions are available.

Hi @nashpatty, this looks like a caching issue. We're currently using Ehcache for each instance. The cache per instance most likely causes the switch between versions. We're working on moving to a distributed cache (Redis): eclipse/openvsx#1277. I'll keep this issue open for now.
