STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION on cmd_trace_rays on AMD GPUs

**Describe the bug**
On AMD 6600XT, this crashes on `cmd_trace_rays` with STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.

cargo run --bin view --release
```
