CLOIP-8: Servers configuration update #8
Description
I suggest to update servers configuration and management based on last events in Callisto Community and published Server invoices by Callisto Enterprise.
This will bring more stability, decentralisation and will cut server expenses:
Boot nodes:
50% of Boot nodes will be managed and paid by Callisto Enterprise team, 50% by Dexaran.
RPC nodes:
- 2 public RPC load balancers built on different cloud providers, domains, 1 Managed and owned by Dexaran, Second managed/owned by Callisto Enterprise
- Any community member, co-founder, whoever else can run own node and be added to both public RPC balancers
This will bring geo decentralisation, stability to public RPC. Many community members are claimed they are ready to run small public RPC node.
Explorer:
-It consists of backend part (archive node+ DB server) which should be managed by 1 team. Dexaran and Callisto Enterprise should agree who will manage this servers. This requires fast enough/expensive server.
-Frontends - 2 official frontends by Callisto Enterprise and Dexaran. Any community members can launch own explorer frontend and get read access to explorer DB.
