Is Slack channel open to the community?

Hi Daft team, is the Slack channel open to the community? I see the link to sign up at https://dist-data.slack.com but it requires an Eventual email address. I found online this archive of past Slack conversations: https://linen.getdaft.io/c/daft-dev and it will be good for the community to discuss there. Or are we supposed to discuss here on Github?

GitHub is a great place for discussions but we are also active on slack. Were you using the slack invite from the ReadMe or somewhere else?
