Aggregates do not mix audio together. You need to use something else or mix audio together.

Hey guys, tried figuring this out on my own and I'm stumped. I'm running a Mac Studio, Apple M2 Max, Sonoma 14.5.
Basically, I'm just trying to make an aggregate device to run both my microphone (the Scarlett 2i2) and internal audio in one send. I'm using it specifically for Google Voice in this case. I can only get one device to output here, so if the mic is first in the setup order that's all the audio I get out, or if it's the internal system audio first, I get no mic audio. I noticed in the setup FAQ screen cap provided on the main WIKI page the Blackhole channels all show green, while mine are showing red in the screen cap provided here, which I'm thinking is an issue. Any help here would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

It’s unfortunately a common misconception since some apps will mix the audio together.
Pretty much any daw will do the trick to mix mic audio into BlackHole. I use Logic Pro.
But we also have a paid app https://dipper.audio that does that too.

Understood, I was under the impression that creating an aggregate would achieve the goal, obviously I misunderstood how it works. When you say “use something else” does anything specific come to mind? I’m just looking to have someone who calls in on Google Voice be able to hear both my microphone and internal system audio.
FYI Blackhole has been a great tool for streaming with OBS 👍
