Docker - Adding exiv2 to an existing docker container ... Help!

Hello,

Background:

I've downloaded the latest V28.1 exiv2 x64 tar file from the website.
I'm trying to add the exiv2 precompiled version into an existing docker image.
the binary / lib work just fine on the docker host.

Technical details:
md5sum /bin/exiv2 376d8a93cb9a16ba8da3ce58e8045d9c /bin/exiv2

OS
uname -a Linux 2709cd8b5d2a 4.4.302+ #69057 SMP Fri Oct 6 11:28:40 CST 2023 x86_64 Linux

Permissions:
/bin # ls -la /bin/exiv2
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root 0 420960 Nov 25 16:47 /bin/exiv2

Command Run:
/bin # env LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$PWD/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" /bin/exiv2

Error:
env: can't execute '/bin/exiv2': No such file or directory

OR

Command:
/bin # /bin/exiv2

Error:
ash: /bin/exiv2: not found

Not sure what I'm might be missing from getting this to run or to collect to help share further technical details.
