Safety factors in failmat/ BladeLayup #43

@mrosemeier

Description

@mrosemeier

@fzahle Currently we have only the GL2010 safety factors for fiber fracture in the *.failmat/ BladeLayup. There are, however, much more safety factors to be applied for several different analysis types:

  • inter fiber fracture
  • stability
  • fatigue

Which are also different for the two material types laminate and bond lines.
When looking into the future, the GL2015 or IEC61400-5 have a complete new system of safety factors.

Two suggestions/questions:

  • Should we arrange one array (nmat, nana x nsafety) of safety factors independent of guideline revision, say for each analysis type nsafety = 10 columns?
  • Should we make a separate file, e.g. a *.safetymat or stick to a huge *.failmat?
