I'm always frustrated when, when holding shift, I still have to go all the way to the bottom in the right click context menu and click delete, same with the buttons on the side

Me not being frustrated anymore. I like sending cursed messages on Discord and then swiftly deleting them (not possible anymore ever since Discord moved it to the last spot)

Describe alternatives you've considered

me going all, all, all the way to the bottom of the right click context menu or the very, very right of the side buttons to delete a message. Since when did Discord move this all the way to the last

Maybe holding Delete and clicking the message to delete it would be a better alternative than Shift + double click?
